If your About page mostly explains where you came from, what you’ve done, and how you became a designer, it may be leaving some of your best marketing on the table.

When I recently helped a student in my Nail Your Niche class rewrite hers, she didn't need to make her story more impressive.

She just needed help connecting the dots.

Her previous career, childhood home, project experience, and design instincts were already there. We just needed to show prospective clients why those things make her especially good at the work she does now.

Between 2007 and 2023, my team and I helped over 2,000 clients transform their small, tired houses into happy homes. 💛 Our work, and my book Happy Starts at Home, was featured on TV’s New Day, in The Wall Street Journal, Live Happy Magazine, Success Magazine, & beyond!

Then, in 2023, I closed my design studio and moved to Paris, and, a couple of years later, to the south of France. ( 🤩 !! )
