Can ChatGPT understand your interior design business from your blog titles? 🤖 👀

Happy Tuesday Interior Designers and Ambitious Entrepreneurs,

I'm gonna keep this short because this is important: Your blogs matter.

Not just because people might read them, but because:

They Help You Get Found.

And these days, that does not only mean humans searching Google. It also means humans using AI tools to help them find the right designer.

Of course, that only works if you are strategic not just about what you write, but also how you title your blogs.

A strong blog title should make three things clear:

  • What you do
  • Who you do it for
  • Where you do it

Here’s a quick test:

Copy the titles of your last 10 blog posts into ChatGPT and ask,

“Based only on these titles, what do I do, who do I help, and what problems do I solve?”

If the answer is vague, generic, or missing your location, service type, or ideal client pain points, your blog may be helpful, but not very findable.

Make sure your blog is working as hard for you as you worked on it.

Publishing blogs can be a powerful SEO move, but it takes time to do well. Your titles should help the right clients recognize themselves, trust your expertise, understand why you are the person to hire, and find you in the first place.

On Thursday, I’ll share a quick case study showing this at work on a real designer’s site, including how a good blog title can become a much better one with just a few strategic tweaks.

Want me to put your website's blog in the hot seat? 🔥 👀

If you’re brave, hit reply. I’ll run a quick, free diagnostic on your blog titles and give you three actionable tips to make them stronger.

Well, hello there — have we met?

I’m Rebecca West. I help residential interior designers feel seriously confident about their marketing, sales, and client onboarding.

Everything I teach comes from running my firm, Seriously Happy Homes, for 17 years. Between 2007 and 2023, my team and I helped over 2,000 clients transform their small, tired houses into happy homes. 💛 Our work, and my book Happy Starts at Home, was featured on TV’s New Day, in The Wall Street Journal, Live Happy Magazine, Success Magazine, & beyond!

Then, in 2023, I closed my design studio and moved to Paris, and, a couple of years later, to the south of France. ( 🤩 !! )

As a coach, consultant, and gal-who's-been-there, I'm here to help the next generation of creative, hardworking, detail-oriented interior designers get found, get great clients, and get paid like a pro!

Let’s make it happen for you!

Happy Thursday interior designers and small business owners! Do you think quartz is better than marble? Plenty of designers adore marble, understand that...
