Interior Design Blog Titles for SEO: The Case Study 🤓

Happy Thursday Designers and Creative Entrepreneurs,

On Tuesday I gave you a quick test:

Copy the titles of your last 10 blog posts into ChatGPT and ask what your business does, who you help, and what problems you solve.

Today, I’m showing you what happened when I ran that test on two real interior design blogs.

And spoiler: both designers were doing smart things, but in very different ways.

One designer’s blog titles made her location and service lane crystal clear. The other designer’s titles did a great job naming the client’s emotional problem: remodel overwhelm, decision fatigue, budget stress, and the fear of making expensive mistakes.

The strongest blog strategy does both.

Because your blog titles are not just headlines. They are signals.

They help clients, Google, and increasingly AI tools understand whether you are relevant, trustworthy, and worth recommending.

In the article, I break down what worked, what could be stronger, and how tiny title tweaks can make a blog more findable and more compelling.

Read the case study here.

(And yes, this is a friendly nudge to go look at your last 10 blog titles. 😉 )

Cheering you on!

💛 Rebecca

Well, hello there — have we met?

I’m Rebecca West. I help residential interior designers feel seriously confident about their marketing, sales, and client onboarding.

Everything I teach comes from running my firm, Seriously Happy Homes, for 17 years. Between 2007 and 2023, my team and I helped over 2,000 clients transform their small, tired houses into happy homes. 💛 Our work, and my book Happy Starts at Home, was featured on TV’s New Day, in The Wall Street Journal, Live Happy Magazine, Success Magazine, & beyond!

Then, in 2023, I closed my design studio and moved to Paris, and, a couple of years later, to the south of France. ( 🤩 !! )

As a coach, consultant, and gal-who's-been-there, I'm here to help the next generation of creative, hardworking, detail-oriented interior designers get found, get great clients, and get paid like a pro!

Let’s make it happen for you!

Happy Thursday, Designers & Savvy Service Providers! Let's adapt Tuesday's reveal for your brand! On Tuesday, I shared how Josepha adapted her message for contractors without abandoning the heart of her brand. Her homeowner-facing message is: Find Your Bold. Her contractor-facing message is: Bold decisions. Buildable designs.Design support that keeps remodels moving. Different words. Same business. And that is the point. Your message can change outfits. It just should not change...

Happy Tuesday, Designers & Savvy Service Providers! Let’s talk taglines. A few simple words, meant to capture the heart of your brand. They can take ages to find and refine, and once you finally discover language that explains what makes your business different, it's tempting to treat those words like they've been carved into a stone tablet. This is the tagline. We shall use it forever. Nobody touch anything. But clear messaging does not mean repeating the exact same sentence to every...

Happy Tuesday Interior Designers and Ambitious Entrepreneurs, I'm gonna keep this short because this is important: Your blogs matter. Not just because people might read them, but because: They Help You Get Found. And these days, that does not only mean humans searching Google. It also means humans using AI tools to help them find the right designer. Of course, that only works if you are strategic not just about what you write, but also how you title your blogs. A strong blog title should make...
